At Navyabharathi Global School, we believe that examinations are an integral part of the education system and play a crucial role in assessing a student’s academic progress. Therefore, we have developed an examination policy to ensure fairness and consistency in the evaluation process.

Attendance requirement: To be eligible to appear for the final exams of the academic year, students must have a minimum of 75% attendance in all subjects. This requirement is in place to encourage students to attend classes regularly and ensure that they have a better understanding of the topics covered in the curriculum.

Assessment structure: Every academic year consists of four formative assessment exams and two term exams. Term 1  covers 50% of the syllabus, while Term 2 covers 80 to 100% of the syllabus of the academic year. This structure is designed to help students understand the topics gradually and prepare them for the final exams effectively.

NEP 2020 update: The school is committed to updating its examination policy as per the new education policy (NEP 2020). We believe that aligning our policies with the latest guidelines and best practices will help us provide a better learning environment for our students.

Grading system: We follow a comprehensive grading system based on the student’s performance in each exam. The grades are based on various parameters like attendance, class participation, assignments, and performance in exams. This grading system helps us assess the student’s academic progress and provide feedback to them on their strengths and areas of improvement.
